Welcome to Make a New Friend (hereinafter "MANF"), a website owned and operated by MakeaNewFriend, Inc., a not-for-profit New York corporation.

The sole purpose of this website is to help introduce people to new friends. Initial contact is via email. It is not a dating site, nor is it meant to provide romantic services of any kind. It is intended only for inter-personal connections that help create friendships and battle loneliness. Misuse may be punishable under applicable laws, statutes, regulations and rules.


By submitting your questionnaire you agree to the following terms and conditions:


  1. You agree not to trade, transfer, sell, lease, rent, exchange, divulge or forward to, or otherwise transact with, any individual, corporation, or other business entity or governmental agency or department any email address provided to you by MANF in response to your submitted questionnaire. Such provided email addresses are for your exclusive consideration and use in deciding whether to engage in correspondence.
  2. The confidentiality of your MANF website user name and password is your responsibility. If you suspect unauthorized use of this information, you will promptly notify MANF at contact@makeanewfriend.com.
  3. You agree that the submitted questionnaire represents your answers alone, is your work product, and that you will not submit or re-submit a questionnaire for, or on behalf of, anyone without their knowledge and express approval.
  4. You understand that MANF is not a party to any email or other communication that may occur between matched friends and cannot guarantee that the content of any such emails or other communications is accurate, truthful or trustworthy. Good and sound judgment is required of any friend in deciding whether to initiate and/or continue a dialogue.
  5. You acknowledge that the MANF matching process is used only to exchange email addresses appearing on the submitted questionnaire and no other information.
  6. You acknowledge that submission of your questionnaire is both voluntary and discretionary and that MANF shall not be liable for damages of any sort or in any amount that directly or indirectly result from use of the website.
