What is a match date? Why aren't I matched instantly?
On a match date, we run the questionnaires through our algorithm to find compatible friends. We use match dates to allow time for the database to expand. That is why matches are not made instantly. If you choose the "monthly" option, your questionnaire will be matched on the first day of each month. The "quarterly" option will match on the first day of January, April, July and October. The "once only" matches once - on the first day of the following month.
Where do my friends come from?
Anywhere and everywhere. These are people seeking new friendships, just like you, who have signed on with us for that purpose.
Are there any hidden costs associated with using the website?
None. There are no one-time or other membership fees, costs or dues associated with website use. That includes submitting or re-submitting a questionnaire, and receiving our replies.
What if my questionnaire doesn't match with anyone? Will I be told and what can I do?
You will be told if your questionnaire fails to generate a match. Then, you can try answering additional questions and re-submit. The more questions answered, the better the matching process.
Will I be matched with the same person twice?
No. There will never be duplicate matches.
